Despite the final score the Spartans played with true conviction. Tyler Vincent dug deep on defense and Joe Serbiak, Nick King, Cole Vento, Jacob Wendt, Matthew Johnston, Palmer Boll, Jay VanErt and Justin Bianco remained focused and undeterred. James Foster, Seth Bemis, Trevor Timmerman, Avery Barnes, Brandon Kugler tore through the Oconomowoc offensive line sacking the quarterback. Evan Halada pressed to break up a Spartan pass. Avery Barnes ran a quarterback sneak to excite the fans. Jake Graf, Nick Watry and Jared Liengh contributed the longest runs of the day with Jake Graf making a pass reception. Clavon Byrd was out on injury.
