Shakespeare's Mark Zeity Joins National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA)

Shakespeare Wealth Management, Inc. ® is pleased to announce that Financial Advisor Mark Ziety has been accepted for membership in the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA). Membership in NAPFA is granted only to Fee-Only advisors who are paid directly by their clients. NAPFA members receive no commissions or other rewards for selling financial products. Those forms of compensation create potential conflicts of interest that may serve to undermine an advisor’s objectivity and fiduciary responsibility.

“We welcome Mark to NAPFA,” said NAPFA Chair William Baldwin, a financial advisor in Waltham, MA. “The NAPFA-Registered Financial Advisor designation denotes a real accomplishment for any financial advisor. We recently surpassed 2,000 members and are always pleased when we can strengthen our ranks with well-trained, highly-committed financial advisors.”

“It’s an honor and a privilege to become a NAPFA member,” said Ziety. “All NAPFA members must sign a Fiduciary Oath promising to place the clients’ interests first. At Shakespeare Wealth Management, before we make any recommendations, we take the time to thoroughly understand each client’s long-term goals and tolerance for risk. We ask questions, listen carefully to their ideas and concerns, and welcome discussion as alternatives are considered. The importance of confidentiality, reliability, and responsiveness is acknowledged and respected.”

As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, Ziety provides added depth and resources to the financial planning services that Shakespeare offers. His responsibilities include preparing financial plans for clients, assisting with the preparation and follow-up for client meetings, and coordinating with the client’s other advisors to ensure optimal results. In addition, Shakespeare leverages Mark’s technical skills, as he researches current tax laws and financial strategies that benefit Shakespeare’s clients.

“Our goal is to build an ongoing relationship with our clients as a Firm that not only understands their financial objectives, but also how they fit in the context of their family, their values, and their lifetime goals,” said Kevin Reardon, CFP®, President of Shakespeare Wealth Management, Inc.® “Based on our commitment, approach, and independence they will have a higher level of confidence and surety in achieving the results they desire.”
