The Richfield Historical Society is sponsoring "Art at the Mill" on July 24 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will be held at the beautiful Richfield Historical and Nature Parks. Enter at the Nature Park sign on Hwy. 164 between Hwy. 167 and Pleasant Hill Road and then enjoy a "people mover" wagon ride pulled by a genuine Farmall or John Deere tractor (you're out in the country now!) to the Historical Park where artists will be located. The event is free and music will be provided from noon to 3 p.m. by the South End Blues Band.
The Historical Society will offer tours of the Messer/Mayer Grist Mill and miller's house during the event for $5. Food will be available from Bilda's Friess Lake Pub, Hometown Cafe and the Richfield Historical Society.
The artists will offer a wide variety of fine art: photography, jewelry, wood carvings, glass, fiber and much more. Visit richfieldhistoricalsociety.org for more information.
