Passion Play - Lutherland Pilgrimage
The Rev. Larry W. Myers, senior pastor of Elm Grove Lutheran Church, has personally organized a Germany Study Tour for August 2010. Options include a 16-day tour for the dates of August 13-28 and an 8-day tour for the dates of August 21-28. The 16-day tour begins in Berlin; the 8-day tour, in Frankfurt/Main. Both options end in Munich.
The 16-day tour includes major Luther sites in eastern Germany and numerous cultural & historical sites. Both the 16-day and the 8-day options include the famous Passion Play in Oberammergau (guaranteed Category 1 seating). Music events are also featured in Leipzig and Salzburg (Austria).
Cost for the 16-day tour is $4,650 (with air; land-only, $3,150). Cost for the 8-day tour is $3,775 (with air; land only, $2,275). The 16-day tour is the lowest, per day cost of any Lutherland/Oberammergau combo in 2010.
