Volunteer Opportunities in Waukesha County
Adult Day Services Support Assistant: Assist and support our staff in New Berlin with recreational activities, games, music, crafts and have discussions with seniors that have physical disabilities. Interact on a one-to-one basis, stimulating client conversation. A friendly professional demeanor and the ability to interact with individuals with disabilities are required. Training and orientation will be provided.
Spring Break – Feed the Kids: This is a great opportunity sponsored by The Salvation Army for families and kids home for Spring Break! Volunteer to help Waukesha Children in the “Kids Program”! Prepare and deliver sack lunches during the week of April 5-9.
Courthouse Greeters: The Waukesha Courthouse and Administration Center is looking for greeters to help direct people to places they need to find in the building. Volunteers must be capable of walking and standing for three hours. An application will need to be filled out and there will be a background check.
After School Helper: Volunteers are needed to assist the staff with children with disabilities in the After School program in Waukesha sponsored by Easter Seals Southeast Wisconsin. Assist with playing games, reading, completing puzzles and crafts. Minimum age is 14 years old.
