Help Hunger Task Forcer Meet it's Increased Need this Holiday Season

Beginning November 30th, YOU can help the Hunger Task Force of Milwaukee meet its increased need this holiday season, while getting Nutritional Education for yourself.

According to the Hunger Task Force, Demand has increased 27 percent and is attributable to increases in unemployment, problems with the state administered FoodShare program and a childhood poverty rate that brings shame to the city. “We are happy that volunteers and donors supported our mission this past year and helped us meet this need, now we call on them to renew their commitment as fall turns to winter and the holiday season unfolds.” Sherrie Tussler, executive director of Hunger Task Force.

November 30th –December 15th Brookfield, Delafield and Wauwatosa Fitness Together locations will be collecting non-perishable for the Hunger Task Force’s Food For Family’s Food Drive, to help everyone have food during the holiday season.

Every person that donates to the food drive will be given a certificate for a Free Nutrition Together Consultation, to guide you to healthy eating for optimal fitness.

Nutrition Together is a personalized one-on-one nutrition plan that will help you establish sustainable healthy eating habits designed to provide a common sense approach to healthy eating and safe permanent weight loss. You will be working closely with your Nutrition Together consultant to guide you through the skills needed to put the basics of healthy and fit lifestyle into practice.
