Brookfield East 5 White was beat by big plays on Saturday, but also had one of their own. Trailing 6-0 in the first, Nick Tennessen ripped off a 64 yard touchdown run which featured a nice block by Connor Chuppa. A successful conversion followed from Nick Kreul, who had a nice lead out block byJake Austin, and gave Brookfield a lead 7-6.
Unfortunately, that was their final lead of the game, which ended in a 7-33 loss to Delavan. Another bright spot in the game was special teams play, particularly Aaron Keech, who continues to get good yardage on his kick-offs and punts.
