The 2009 Friends of the Brookfield Public Library Used Book Sale is just around the corner. The Friends are still collecting books, CD’s, DVD’s, VHS tapes, and books-on-tape. Items may be dropped off at the circulation desk, or call for a pick-up (Dave at 262.786.6059).
Also needed are helpers for Sale set-up on Fridays and Sale days on Saturday. We have set-up on Fridays August 7, 14, 21, and 28 from 4pm- 6pm. We have to put up tables, signs, and move boxes of books. We are required to set up each Fri. and take-down after the sale on Sat. The Sale dates are Saturdays August 8, 15, 22, and 29, from 7:30 am- 12:30pm in the Brookfield City Hall Senior Center (entrance is adjacent to the farmer's market). We need cashiers and book sorters. If you would like to volunteer for a couple of hours, email Dave at ddibraccio@att.net
