Local Retail Jeweler and Romance Expert Travels to Florence

Recently, a host of US retail jewelers and press traveled with the fashion-forward REBECCA jewelry brand, distributed by TESTI USA in America, to Empoli, on the outskirts of Florence, to witness the making of the Italian jewelry that is taking America by storm.

Local jeweler, Craig Husar, Chief Romance Expert and president of Lyle Husar Designs, (17395 West Bluemond Road, Brookfield, WI, 262-789-8585, www.lylehusardesigns.com, see the collection at http://tinyurl.com/n8t4oq) was one of just a handful of select jewelers chosen to visit the state-of-the-art workshops and the REBECCA boutique in the heart of Florence.

Lyle Husar Designs has been carried the REBECCA brand exclusively in Southeastern Wisconsin for nearly two years and has experienced wonderful success with it. His clients are savvy and understand the bold, beautiful look of this line.

“I love to travel the world to help my customers become more romantic,” says Craig Husar. “Finding great jewelry that they can give as gifts is so important, and in today’s economy, REBECCA is especially important because it offers such a grand look at a great price. I can’t bring my customers romance and love without traversing the world to find it.”

Husar has an unusual title for an owner of a jewelry store. He refers to himself as the “Chief Romance Expert”. Why? “Because we are in the business of helping our customers become more romantic. Jewelry is about romance, love and commitment,” says Husar.

The REBECCA brand, which Husar is proud to carry, is just two years young in America, features jewelry made of bronze, stainless steel, sterling silver and hydrothermal gemstones. Founded by Alessandro Testi in 1998 and owned by Testi S.p.A., REBECCA has fast become a jewelry phenomenon, offering style innovation, enthusiasm and emotion. It was Testi’s passion is to keep the quality, look and feel of “Italian made” at the forefront, but to make the glamorous result affordable to a wide array of consumers from all walks of life. The REBECCA brand is 100 percent made in Italy. All gems are hydrothermal semi-precious stones, such as iolite, peridot, amethyst, tourmaline, citrine, garnet and quartz. All of the jewelry carries a two-year warranty.

Collections include the Tropezienne, Liberty series of charms in filigree, the very romantic Roma series, and the recently released Melrose series of oversized hoop earrings and bold rings. REBECCA changes collections seasonally– making this one of the most wearable, sought-after lines on the market.
