This year's Tour Le Jardin features homes in Menomonee Falls, Elm Grove and Brookfield. Held every year on the last Saturday in July it comes at a great time to see some of the wonderful summer blooming plants.

Mark your calendar for July 25, 2009 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and join us for this lovely garden tour.

This is a joint Garden Club walk with 3 garden clubs: Mayfair Park Garden Club – Carole (414) 771-7979; Elm Grove Garden Club – Mary (414) 774-1582 and Elmbrook Garden Club – Diane (414) 578-2513 or Gunga_din13@hotmail.com.

Advance tickets are $8 and can be purchased by calling any of the 3 women listed above.

If you prefer, you may purchase tickets at Welke's House of Roses on Legion Drive in Elm Grove or at the Village Flower Shop on Watertown Plank.

Tickets are available the day of the event for $10 at these locations:

2490 Shelly Court (Brookfield) and W161 N5711 Bette Drive (Menomonee Falls).

You will need to present your ticket at each garden, so please remember to bring it with you. There are 6 gardens on this year’s tour. There will be something for everyone to see. All proceeds go to scholarships for students studying horticulture or related fields and other community gardening projects.
