Hamilton DECA experiences success at state

March 29, 2013

Eight Hamilton High School DECA members competed March 19-21 at the Wisconsin DECA Career Development Conference in Lake Geneva.

The following students were recognized:
• Brianna Stubler, one role play medal, food marketing; and
• Grace Modl and Therese Merkel, two role play medals, buying and merchandising team decision making

Alan Mamerow double qualified placing first overall in automotive services marketing and fifth overall in the entrepreneurship written event. Mamerow will advance to the DECA International Career Conference April 24-27 in Anaheim, Calif. where he will compete in automotive services marketing.

Business education teacher and DECA advisor Skip Hay will accompany Mamerow to the conference.

The Hamilton DECA chapter was recognized for its $500 contribution to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
