Trinity UCC Holy Week Celebration Services
Good Friday and Easter Sunday Special Performances
Brookfield, WI (March 18, 2013) Trinity UCC invites you to celebrate holy week with these special celebratory services. On Good Friday, March 29 at 7:00 p.m. the Trinity Players will present a dramatic presentation entitled “Good Friday Grace-Monologs from the Crucifixion”. Hear the stories of those craftspeople that made the items used in the crucifixion – robe, crown, whip, nails, cross and stone. In addition to this presentation, the Trinity Celebration Singers will share special Good Friday music; “Crucified”.
Easter Services: On March 31 at 7:30 a.m., Trinity will feature a dramatic presentation entitled “The Easter News Report”, featuring a news reporter interviewing five people in Jerusalem following the news that Jesus has left the tomb. The Trinity Celebration singers will also perform “I Will Rise” and the annual free Easter breakfast will follow this service at 8:30 a.m. including Easter activities/games for children.
At 10:00 a.m. on Easter Sunday, worship with communion will take place. The Celebration Singers will sing “I Will Rise” in celebration of the glory of a risen Lord. Everyone is welcome to join these worship services as Trinity celebrates God’s love for all.
