Archbishop Listecki presented us with our Exemplary Award, for Catholic Identity at the
Archdiocese Educators Convention Luncheon on October 18th.
Before we received the award, the superintendent of schools explained that of the 108 schools in the archdiocese, seventeen applied for exemplary recognition. Of those seventeen applications 5 were selected for site visits and four schools were deemed truly exemplary in their area. Needless to say, it was such an honor for us to receive this award, for two consecutive accreditation cycles, especially in the area of Catholic identity.
And then of course…Fr. Tim had to take over the microphone and lead everyone in a rousing chorus of “We are Family…” which prompted the Archbishop to lean over to our principal say “It’s a shame he is such an introvert.”
