WRAP NEWS
The WRAA awards show at the Pyle center in Madison was an excellent portrayal of the excellent artwork produced by Wisconsin Artist.
WCAL members had an excellent showing with 4 members winning awards. These members were Shannon Finger, Mary Ellen Heus, Joan Jenquin and Margaret Schumann. Jan Wood won first place for her pen and ink drawing entered in the contest for the Contour Notes Magazine.
Other honors were given to Jan Wood and Kathy Hosch whose works were accepted to be displayed in the lobby of the Agricultural Hall on the Madison campus. And several WCAL members works were chosen to be on display at the new Museum Of Wisconsin Artist in West Bend in April of 2013. These members are Katie Calhoun, Mary Ellen Heus. Joan Jenquin and Jean Pascek.
Thank you to all WCAL members for joining the 2012 WRAP. Hope to see you all again in 2013.
