Fall Ball - Activity Assistants Needed for Dance, Goodwill Industries of SE Wisconsin
Spend time with adults with special needs as they dance the night away at our Fall Ball. Goodwill On the Move is a recreation program for adults with developmental disabilities who want to put a little "kick" in their weekends. We are seeking volunteers to assist with decorating, serving food, and encouraging people on the sidelines to get out on the dance floor and have some fun. The dance will be held on Saturday, September 29 in Waukesha. Volunteers are needed for set-up from 4:00-6:00, the dance from 6:00 - 8:30, and take-down from 8:30-9:30. Volunteers must be a minimum of 16 years old, social and mature with a desire to show participants that they are valued. A mandatory 30 minute orientation will be provided prior to your shift.

Medical Clinic Reception/Intake Worker, St. Joseph's Medical Clinic
Be a vital volunteer at the Medical Clinic in Waukesha! Greet patients and help them to fill out paperwork so that they can be seen by a doctor. An important part of this position is assisting patients in filling out intake and financial forms, obtaining documentation, and reviewing forms for accuracy and completeness. Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required. Hours for this opportunity are Monday or Thursday evenings from 5:00pm-8:00pm, Wednesday mornings from 8:00 to 11:00 and Wednesday afternoons from 12:00 to 2:00. Requirements: This position requires good communication skills and attention to detail. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old, complete a volunteer application, and pass a background check. Training is done during a scheduled clinic with another volunteer who has experience in this position.

Saturday Afternoon Activity, Waukesha Springs Health & Rehabilitation Center
Come join us Saturdays from 1:00-3:00pm where you can help our residents enjoy a fun-filled afternoon. Assist residents in playing bingo, baking, table games and more. Volunteers will be trained in the activity and as well as with transporting a resident in a w/c to and from their rooms. An Activity Staff will be present at the activity as well. 2 to 3 volunteers are needed. Volunteer must be a minimum age of 18 years and older, 13-15 years with adult supervision.

Casino Games, Waukesha Springs Health & Rehabilitation Center
Feel like you're in Vegas! Help with a casino style game Thursday mornings from 10:00 to 12:00 at Waukesha Springs Health and Rehabilitation Center. Simple math skills will help but not necessary - having fun with our residents is the main goal of this activity. Requirements: Minimum age is 18 years old. Volunteers will be trained by staff until they feel comfortable.
