The Greater Metro Conference (GMC) has named the following Hamilton High School students Spring 2011-12 Scholar Athletes:
•Kara Bednarek – girls soccer;
•Jacob Anderson, Daniel Baker, Aaron Beck, Steven Greilinger, Jordan Kind, Alexander Lutze, Cody Neverman, Pratheek Reddy, Clayton Van Der Linden – boys tennis;
•Matthew Foster, Brandon Hagenow, Nicholas Patterson, Michael Spankowski – boys track;
•Amanda Bernarde, Jennifer Janusz, Jessica Rupnow – girls track; and
•Timothy Biron, Tyler Kozlowski, Mitchell Mason, Nicholas Patterson – baseball.
Coaches nominate student-athletes who:
•earned a minimum 3.5 cumulative grade point average;
•participated in at least 75 percent of the team’s varsity matches; and
•have at least sophomore standing.
These student-athletes serve as a great example to others demonstrating combined academic and athletic success.
