Michael Linnihan, age 10, of Brookfield competed in the Sun Prairie Kids Tri on Saturday, August 18th. A state team member for the Elmbrook Swim Club and a Wisconsin Zone Team member for the 2012 Long Course team, Linnihan was ready for the leg in the pool. While his bike training was primarily comprised of commuting to and from swim club practices at Wirth Park this summer, he had some run training with the swim club. The race consisted of a 100 yard indoor swim, a 5K bike and a 1K run. Linnihan finished first in his age group with a time of 21:07.
