Waterstone Mortgage Corp. Hosts Third Annual Summer Conference

July 23, 2012

PEWAUKEE, WI (July 23, 2012) – Waterstone Mortgage Corporation is pleased to announce that nearly 100 attendees were present in Milwaukee for its third-annual summer conference.

During the Olympic-themed “Going For Gold” conference on July 15-17, employees from across the country came together at the Milwaukee Hilton to network and learn about current and future initiatives at Waterstone Mortgage. Company executives and management gave industry and department updates, and guest speaker Brian Chappelle of Potomac Partners provided valuable insight into regulations and their impact on the mortgage industry.

The conference kicked off with “Opening Ceremonies” on the rooftop of the Milwaukee Athletic Club, where attendees had the opportunity to win up to $100 by showcasing their singing skills during “Cash for Karaoke”. On the second night of the conference, attendees cheered on the Milwaukee Brewers from the Dew Deck at Miller Park. The Going for Gold conference ended with a surprise game show competition during the “Closing Ceremonies”, complete with a medal ceremony for the top teams and iPads awarded to the gold medal winners.

“We are thrilled with the turnout and engagement we saw during the Going for Gold conference, and consider it a tremendous success,” said Eric Egenhoefer, President and CEO of Waterstone Mortgage. “This conference was beneficial not only to those who attended, but also to our company and our customers. We are confident that our employees will be able to achieve great things in the second half of 2012 with the knowledge and relationships they built during the conference.”
