VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES IN WAUKESHA COUNTY:

Trot for Tots, Safe Babies Healthy Families
Join us on Saturday August 11 to assist in our 5-k Run/Walk fundraiser and make a difference for babies, young children and their families in our community. Volunteers are needed for registration, handing out water and T-shirts, and along the course. Individuals or groups may volunteer. Volunteers are needed from 8:30-11:30 am at Frame Park in Waukesha.

Community Awareness & Advocacy Volunteers, Addiction Resource Council, Inc.
We need volunteers who would be willing to act as community awareness and advocacy representatives for our agency by staffing booths and displays at health fairs and other community events. These volunteers would be available to answer questions about our agency & our programs/services as well as conduct fun learning activities such as a "fatal vision" intoxicated driving simulation activity. There would be a brief training to attend to assist volunteers in being prepared to answer questions and conduct activities. Located in Waukesha.

Water Park Field Trip Chaperone, Easter Seals Southeast Wisconsin
Assist our camp leaders with our campers at Country Springs Water Park, in Pewaukee. The water park offers more than 45,000 square feet of indoor water park fun. Prepare to get wet! We would like adults over 18. Individuals and small groups are welcome. Trip is on August 8th, 2012, 11:30 am – 4:30 pm.

Volunteer Senior Taxi Drivers Needed, Muskego Senior Taxi
Volunteer Drivers are needed Monday through Friday from 8 AM - 4 PM. Half or Full day assignments are open. Drivers will assist elderly and disabled get to medical and non-medical appointments. This position requires a good driving record, someone who likes assisting others and patience. Located in the Muskego area.
