For more than 50 years, the Pewaukee Lake Sailing School has offered sailing instruction to youth of all ages. Since its inception, Pewaukee Lake Sailing School has been committed to the support of sailing in the local community. The tradition of sailing on Pewaukee Lake has been carried on through generations of families. Additionally, the PLSS has introduced numerous new sailors and their families to the sport.

The vision of the Pewaukee Lake Sailing School is to build a strong sailing community through beginning "learn to sail" programs which support and feed "learn to race" programs to foster the growth of competitive sailing. The keys to success of both programs are great coaches, excellent equipment, and the generous support of the community and members.
