Last Comic Standing Contest

LOVE OF LAUGTER IS HOSTING “THE LAST COMIC STANDING” CONTEST ON MAY 3 AT THE MILWAUKEE YACHT CLUB - Where did “the last comic standing” go? It is alive and well at Love of Laughter Comedy Club. Love of Laughter is hosting the third annual Standup Comedy Tournament on May 3. Contestants will be placed into one of four pools, with the audience selecting the best comic from each pool. The four winners will compete for the grand championship. Each pool winner will be reserved a spot at LOL/Pitches Comedy Stage at this year’s State Fair, Plus a spot at the Comedy Café shows All acts will be given an oral evaluation and trophies will be awarded to 1st and 2nd place.
Do you have a desire to take your comedy to the next level and compete against your peers? Love of Laughter Comedy Club can satisfy your desires. Love of Laughter is seeking comedians, storytellers and humorous speakers to perform a 3 to 5 minute routine. Contact Tom McFarlin for a spot on the agenda. LOL will be hosting the Comedy Stage with Pitch’s at the Wisconsin State Fair. This is an opportunity to audition.
The Love of Laughter Comedy Club is hosting the contest on May 3 at The Milwaukee Yacht Club, 1700 N Lincoln Memorial Dr overlooking Lake Michigan. Social hour 5:30; program 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. There will be an open bar and MYC Bar food is available. The public is invited, admission is $5.00 but the contestants are FREE.
LOL is seeking contestants from both inside and outside of Toastmasters. If you are funny, want to be funny or thinking about being funny come join us.
Love of Laughter Comedy Club is a specialty club within Toastmasters International. The mission of Love of Laughter is to learn how to write, deliver and evaluate humor. LOL is focused on writing and delivering humorous material, sharpening our sense of humor, and exercising “Improv” skills.

Toastmasters International has been around for more than 80 years and is the leading organization teaching communication and leadership skills. The organization helps conquer their fears of public speaking and enhances personal confidence. Love of Laughter is a new specialty club within Toastmasters and is devoted to specialized humor skills.
