Packer Charles Woodson Scores with Wine Tasting at WineStyles

Rendall V. Thomas, owner of WineStyles of Brookfield, 17000 W. Bluemound Road, has announced a series of wine tastings during the month of July.

 

Green Bay Packer and Superbowl champion cornerback, Charles Woodson will be showcasing his new Napa Valley boutique wine “24”, a premium Cabernet Sauvignon on Thursday, July 21st from 3:00p.m. to 5:00p.m. Guests will sample 4 wines from his collection, and Woodson will autograph bottles of wine and take pictures with fans at the event. Reservations are filling fast for this event and includes appetizers.

 

The month will close out on Friday July 29th, with Wisconsin winemaker and Racine native David Trotta Barnes, owner of Sturino Trotta Cellars who will showcase premium wines wines from his vineyard from 6:00p.m. to 7:30p.m. Trotta says, “Sturino Trotta Cellars was created out of our love for fine wines and the celebration of family, friends and joyous living.” The event will include appetizers.

 

August is Wine Club appreciation month. A private event is planned for Sunday, August 21 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. for wine club members, showcasing premium wines and appetizers. Wine Club membership is available at winestyles.net

WineStyles is a retail wine store that aims to demystify and simplify the wine buying process by classifying wine by style instead of by region or varietal and by bringing a variety of great tasting boutique wine labels under one roof. They also feature fine craft beer, artisanal cheese, gourmet and handmade chocolates and wine inspired gifts. Every Friday night from 6:00p.m. to 7:30p.m.they offer a “style” wine tasting featuring different wines from various regions.

 

The store seeks to educate customers on the ins and outs of fine wine and allow patrons to discover what styles of wines best suit them. All of WineStyles wines are categorized into eight distinct style categories.

 

Rendall V. Thomas, owner and area developer for WineStyles, and is a certified Sommelier from the Court of Master Sommelier’s, a Certified Specialist of Wine, and a French Wine Scholar. He is also a member of the Guild of Sommeliers.
