ProHealth Care Flu & Pneumonia Shot Clinics

Oct. 6, 2010

PROHEALTH CARE HOLDS FLU AND PNEUMONIA SHOT CLINICS

WAUKESHA, WI – ProHealth Care has scheduled the following flu and pneumonia shot clinics in Brookfield, New Berlin and Waukesha. The best way to protect yourself and others against the flu is to get immunized. The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has stated that every person 6 months and older should get a seasonal flu vaccine to prepare for the 2010-2011 flu season. The vaccine will protect against the 2009 H1N1 pandemic virus and two other flu viruses.

Adults and children age 9 and older can receive the vaccine at any of our public flu clinics listed below. The cost is $30 for a seasonal flu shot, $35 for a seasonal high-dose flu shot for ages 65 and older and $55 for a pneumonia shot. Cash, check or Medicare Part B accepted. We do not bill any insurance, including Medicare HMO's (Secure Horizons, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Advantage, etc). For the most up-to-date flu clinic schedule, visit www.prohealthcare.org/flu.
