Bulldogs set baseball tryouts Nov. 25, 27

The Brookfield Bulldogs have set baseball tryouts for current second graders.

Tryouts are set for Nov. 25, from 4-5:30 p.m. and Nov. 27, 6-7:30 p.m. at 11909 W. Fairview, West Allis. For more information contact Linda Fassbender (262) 352-9292 or the organization's website at brookfieldbulldogs.com.

Whitewater's Klotz earns second team All-WIAC honors

Whitewater's defense, particularly the linebacking corps, was highly regarded in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, and linebacker Cole Klotz was one of the reasons.

The Elm Grove resident, who played for New Berlin Eisenhower, was named All-WIAC Second Team. Klotz led Warhawk defenders with 63 total tackles.

East schedules winter softball camp Dec. 8

Brookfield East has scheduled a Winter Softball Camp for Dec. 8, featuring Randy Schneider, the University of Wisconsin assistant softball coach.

There is a coaching clinic at Brookfield East Fieldhouse from 9-11 a.m., hitting (grades 7-12) from noon-2 p.m. and softball drills (under seventh) from 2:30-4:30 p.m.

AAU tryouts Dec. 15 for traveling teams

Tryouts for boys and girls AAU traveling teams for fourth through 11th graders are set for Dec. 15 at 10 a.m. at Greenfield High School Hawks Dome.

Higher Level Camps is an off-season basketball program for boys and girls who desire to take their game to the next level.
