Woodring Baseball Camp set for weekend at East
The Woodring Baseball Camp is set for Saturday and Sunday at the Brookfield East High School Fieldhouse.
The camp is set to run from 2-4 p.m. each day and is for kids ages 7-14. It will be segmented into age-appropriate instructional groups.

The camp will be run by East baseball coach Bill Woodring and his assistant JJ Boyke.
Each participant will receive a T-shirt and there will be recognition awards for standout performances in each age group.
Players should bring, bats, batting gloves, helmets and tennis shoes for the gym.
Lacrosse Association Registration is now open
The Brookfield Lacrosse Association is now holding registration for its spring season.
There are youth teams for boys in third through eighth grades and high school teams for boys and girls in grades nine through 12. The season runs March through mid-June.

Women's golf league looking for members
The Tuesday women's 18-hole golf league at Naga-Waukee Golf Course is accepting new members for the 2012 season.
All interested players must have a handicap of 36 or less.
Play begins in May and continues throughout the summer. Golf begins about 6:45 a.m. and continues until about 8:30 a.m.

WSCA Hall of Fame Banquet set March 24
The annual Wisconsin Soccer Coaches Association Hall of Fame Banquet is set for March 24 at the Montana Terrace in Madison.
The ceremony begins at 6 p.m. with cocktails at 5 p.m.
There are eight seats per table, $40 a seat for WSCCA members and $45 for non-members.
Half tables are $160 and whole tables are $320, available at member price.
Make the checks payable to WSCA and mail them to Dan Stone, WSCA, 17570 Bedford Drive, Brookfield, WI 53045. Deadline is March 19.
This year's inductees include Aleks Nikolic, Shelia Miech, Tim Alexander and Craig Peltonen.
Free youth basketball workouts offered
WI Gators Elite is sponsoring free workouts for boys in grades five through seven on Thursday nights from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at St. Peter Lutheran Church and School, 2229 W. Greenfield Ave., Milwaukee.
Workouts will consist of basketball fundamentals, shooting, footwork and defense.
