Brookfield players take part in All-Star Games
David Fuchs and Mark Heydt of Brookfield East, along with Liz Collins and Ana Bayerlein of Brookfield Academy, played on teams in the 21st annual Masonic Soccer All-Star Games on July 28 at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
Collins scored a goal and Bayerlein made three saves for the Blue girls team, which downed the Gold, 4-1.
The event was sponsored by the Wisconsin Soccer Coaches Association and included a camp for underprivileged youth players, training sessions with coaches Bob Gansler and Jimmy Banks and a banquet.
