BC SPIKERS RANKED
Brookfield Central's boys volleyball team was ranked third in the state this week following a win over West Allis Hale and a second-place showing at the Shorewood Invitational on Saturday. Central got the voters' attention when the Lancers beat powerful Marquette on Sept. 19. Congrats to coach Ken Nash, who said that is the highest the Lancers have ever been ranked by the coaches.
114 Winning margin points for the Brookfield East girls swim team in a 150-36 romp over West Allis on Sept. 27 at East in a Greater Metro Conference dual meet. The Spartans won every event.

The Brookfield Central girls tennis team beat crosstown rival East, 7-0, and then Central had three Greater Metro Conference individual titles and finished second at the conference team championship meet on Sept. 26 to 27.
