RECORD-BREAKING LADY

Brookfield Central sophomore Elizabeth Flatley was sensational at Tuesday's Greater Metro Conference Track & Field Champions, setting her second school record in the last five days. On Friday night she broke Katie Peterson's 3200 record by five seconds with the fastest time in the state. Tuesday she finished second in the mile by breaking the five minute barrier, which was another school record which was previously set by Hannah Trasser (5:03). Elizabeth also won the 800 and set a new conference record.

1 Greater Metro Conference record set by Brookfield East 3200 relay of Kevin Kashian, Karl Brandstaetter, Ryan Dundun and Stephen Browne. (8:01.55).

The Brookfield East boys and the Brookfield Central girls track and field team for winning the Greater Metro Conference Outdoor Championship on Tuesday at East despite terrible weather conditions which stopped the meet once and then forced it to end with three races left.
