FIFTH IN FINAL RANKINGS
The Brookfield Central boys golf team was fifth in the final Wisconsin Golf Coaches Association poll. Arrowhead led the way, followed by Holmen, Marquette and Onalaska.
7 Brookfield Central players made the 2012 All-Greater Metro Conference girls soccer team. Central had four first-teamers - sophomore goalkeeper Rachel Oleson, junior Sarah Fotsch, Kelly Peterson and Ashley McBain. Senior Sarah Baker and sophomores Lydia Rohde and Bella Turelli were second team.

Brookfield East junior pitcher Ryan Rouse pitched a complete game in a 4-2 loss to Franklin on June 12 and then closed the week by pitching three no-hit innings of relief in a 4-2 win over Wauwatosa East.
