KICKING IT AROUND

The Greater Metro/North Shore Conference soccer shootout is set for Friday and Saturday at Brookfield Central. Central faces Whitefish Bay and Divine Savior Holy Angels faces Nicolet on Friday and then the Lancers take on the Knights and the Blue Dukes take on the Dashers on Saturday. Next weekend, the Al Gusho Tournament takes place at Brookfield East with the Spartans hosting seven other teams.

36 Total - even par at Westmoor Country Club on Monday - for sophomore Eddie Wajda of Brookfield Central, helping the Lancers to their second Greater Metro Conference mini-meet victory out of three events so far.

Brookfield East senior pitcher Amanda Kalupa tossed a no-hitter on April 25 in a 17-0 win over Divine Savior Holy Angels at home. Amanda Ehrhart made the key defensive play of the game throwing out the game's lead-off hitter at first base from rightfield for a 9-3 putout.
