It's a big week for intra-city battles. Brookfield Central's boys soccer team traveled to Brookfield East for a match on Tuesday. Then on Friday night, the unbeaten Spartan football team (3-0) travels crosstown to face the Lancers (2-1) for a HUGE Greater Metro Conference game. It will be televised on Time Warner Cable Sports32.
355 yards rushing combined for Brookfield Central running backs DeMario Harris (182) and Marcus Crum (173) in the Lancers' 24-0 win over Marquette on Friday.

Brookfield Central's girls tennis team won the Lancer Invitational on Saturday going 5-0 in the six-team meet. The Lancers had four players go 5-0 for the week - Caroline Treis, Kim Smith, Annie Malone and Deborah Liu.
