The Brookfield Central Boys ski team finished second on Feb. 1 in a slalom meet at Sunburst.
The boys finished behind a strong Marquette team and ahead of Homestead and Brookfield East. Jack Peterson was the top Lancers individual racer with a third-place finish. John Heal also had a strong individual performance with a seventh-place finish.
The Central girls posted a fourth-place finish with the top individual performer Claire Everson with an 11th-place finish.
