The Brookfield Central boys and girls ski teams finished second and third in a five-team slalom meet Jan. 25 at Sunburst.
The boys finished behind Arrowhead and ahead of West Bend, Menomonee Falls and Waukesha. Both Jack Peterson and Ryan Tuck had strong individual performances coming in fifth and sixth place, respectively, behind Arrowhead's top four racers.
Eric Anderson also cracked the top 10 with a ninth-place finish.
The girls turned in their best performance of the year with a third-place finish. Top individual performers were Ellie Hynes with an 11th-place finish and Claire Everson with a 12th-place finish.
