Lancers Hall of Fame Dinner set for May 19
Tickets still available for inaugural banquet
The Brookfield Central Booster Club at Brookfield Central High School will honor nine inaugural inductees to its newly-created Athletic Hall of Fame on May 19 at a banquet at the Westmoor Country Club.
Following the festivities, plaques in each of their honor will be placed on the permanent "Wall of Honor" at the high school.

The nine inductees span multiple generations and multiple sports.
Clark Beier (1962-1966): outstanding football player who returned to Brookfield as a teacher and coach; co-athlete of the year in 1966
Bill Carollo (1967-1970): multiple sport star who earned 11 varsity letters; currently Big Ten director of officiating
Jack Charlesworth (1961-1992): coach and athletic director; coached undefeated football team in 1974
Harley Graf (1955-1975): deceased; was Central's first athletic director
Kenny Harrison (1980-1983): Olympic Gold medalist in triple jump; owns school records in high jump, long jump and triple jump
Austin Ramirez (1992-1996): one of the most decorated swimmers in BCHS history; led team to two state championships
Dave Steinbach (1982-present): currently Lancers' men's and women's tennis coach; winningest coach in school history
Nancy Tyggum-Terrian (1983-1987): multi-sport star who earned 12 varsity letters in four sports; led her tennis team to four state championships
Tom Waterman (1962-1966): co-athlete of the year in 1966, starred on the football field; retired brigadier general
