Brookfield Central senior-to-be Taylor Held has verbally committed to play NCAA Division I volleyball at Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville, Lancers coach Scott Spiess announced this week.
Taylor was selected as a second-team All-Greater Metro Conference player as a sophomore and first-team all-conference and third-team All-State as a junior.
She plans to study exercise science/athletic training at SIUE. The Cougars compete in the Ohio Valley Conference.
