Thirty-three members of the Elmbrook Swim Club finished fifth in the Wisconsin Short Course 13 & Over State Championship Meet at Walter Schroeder Aquatic Center Feb. 28-March 3.
The following results reflect top 16 finishes by gender and age group. All events are recorded in yards.
Girls 13-14: Claire Flatley - seventh in the 50 freestyle, ninth in 200 free and 10th in 100 free; Meredith Gustafson - fourth in 200 butterfly, 13th in 500 free; Emily Ulmer - 11th in 200 breaststroke, 13th in 100 breast.
Boys 13-14: Ben Attenberger - third in 200 breast, fourth in 200 backstroke and 100 breast, seventh in 200 individual medley, 10th in 100 back; Tomer Korabelnikov - sixth in 200 back, ninth in 200 fly, 10th in 100 fly; Connor Rumpit - second in 200 fly, third in 50 free, fourth in 100 fly, 200 free and 500 free, 15th in 200 IM.
Girls 15-16: Leah Lee - 11th in 200 breast, 16th in 100 breast; Maggie Lingle - seventh in 200 fly and 400 IM, 10th in 100 fly; Lindsay Powell - 15th in 200 back; Nicole Wahlgren - 15th in 100 fly and 200 fly.
Boys 15-16: Brian Borden - third in 100 breast, fourth in 100 back, fifth in 200 breast, sixth in 200 IM, 10th in 200 back; Tyler Patt - 11th in 200 breast, Kevin Van Cleave - fourth in 200 IM, fifth in 200 free and 500 free, sixth in 400 IM and seventh in 200 breast.
Girls 17 and Over: Mary Kate Berens - ninth in 1000 free and 1650 free, 11th in 500 free; Maddie Severance - sixth in the 200 fly; Mandie Siehs - fifth in 100 free and 200 free, sixth in 50 free, seventh in 200 back; Carley Stewart - eighth in 500 free and 1000 free, 11th in 1650.
