Brookfield resident Bridget Hodan, a sophomore at Divine Savior Holy Angels, competed at the Level 10 Region 4 Regional Gymnastics Championships in Minneapolis on April 20.
Hodan placed first on the balance beam competition at the Region 4 Regional Championships.
Hodan was one of seven gymnasts from Region 4 to qualify for the Junior Olympic National Championships to be held in Hampton, Va., on May 12. Region 4 is comprised of gymnasts from Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, Missouri, North Dakota and South Dakota.
Bridget, who trains at Salto Gymnastics in Waukesha, is the reigning Level 10 Wisconsin State Champion on balance beam, uneven bars and all around.
