The Brookfield Central/East co-op team lost to the West Allis Central/Hale co-op team, 109.925-55.9 at Hale on Dec. 14, their second straight conference loss.
But there was better news this time, as the locals had three first-place finishes.
Kelsey Linsmeier earned a first on beam (8.2) and on vault (8.725) and Jade Race won the floor (8.525).
Linsmeier also finished second on the floor (8.475) and Katie Krugel was third on the beam (7.025).
"Kelsey continues to be solid, while Jade and Katie are really starting to become more confident and step it up," coach Erin Kokta said. "I'm very proud of the girls tonight because there are going to meets like tonight where we can not put together a full line-up, but as long as the team continues to focus on supporting one another as individuals there is nowhere for us to go but up as a team."
The tumblers will now be off until Jan. 6 at Whitefish Bay.
"We will use these next few weeks to fine-tune routines and start to work on some of the new bigger skills," Kokta said.
