Senior Michael Treis was named Brookfield Central's MVP for the 2012 season.
Treis, along with Andrew Denu, was also named co-captain.
Coach Dave Steinbach also had nine scholar athletes - Denu, Jordan Patt, Jack Peterson, Hasan Nadeem, Matt Lauritzen, Peter Lyon, Charlie Reamer, Tom Hastings and Drew Goeman.
Looking at the all-conference awards, Hastings/Nadeem were second team all-Greater Metro Conference at No. 3 doubles while Treis, Patt, Lyon, Denu/ Tarun Jella, Peterson/Reamer and Matt Michael all were honorable mention.
Treis, who also earned All-State honors, was the first player at Central who played No. 1 singles all four years.
Treis finished 23-9 this year and 85-45 in his career, 20th in lifetime wins. Patt was 23-9 and finished 10th in all-time wins with a 98-26 record.
Other seniors with their season/career records: Denu (18-13, 73-24), Peterson (16-13, 41-23), Lyon (19-9, 29-14), Reamer (14-8, 16-9), Nadeem (11-8), Hasting (11-8) and Goeman (4-3).
Returning players are Michael (23-6, 48-28), Jella (19-11, Brad Bartelt (7-9), Danny Shoen (5-8) and Danny Faust (4-3).
Central, which finished sixth in state, was tied for second with Brookfield East (4-2) in the regular reason. Marquette was first in state and East was third.
"It was a good send off for the seniors," Steinbach said.
