The Spartans swept doubles as first doubles Ben Stewart/Ben Klein beat Andrew Denu/Tarun Jella (6-3, 6-2), second doubles Cole Levonovicz/Tyler Kendall beat Jack Peterson/Charlie Reamer (6-2, 6-4) and Tim Langlois/Henri Termuehlen edged Brad Bartelt/Danny Schoen in a thriller at third doubles (7-6 (5), 6-4).
Felix Corwin beat Jordan Patt at second singles (6-4, 6-2) and Michael Amato beat Peter Lyon at fourth singles (7-5, 6-0).
The Lancers' only wins came in singles. Michael Treis beat Tim Corwin at No. 1 singles in a thrilling battle (7-6, 7-6) and Matt Michael beat Jimmy Englehart (7-5, 7-6 (6)) at No. 3 singles in another hard-fought match.
