Although Brookfield Central finished fifth in the 16-team Muskego Warrior Invitational on Saturday at the Lake Denoon Middle School, senior Carl Hirsch continued to shine.
Hirsch won in 15 minutes, 42.28 seconds, well ahead of runner-up Jacob Jodat of Waukesha North (16:06.06).
Central's other scorers were junior Daniel Pearson 32nd (17:36), senior John Tzortzos 41st (17:42), junior Kevin Rindfleisch 44th (17:44) and sophomore Riley Tsang 53rd (17:54). Senior Russ Vandenberg 83rd (18:34) also ran for the Lancers.
Waukesha North won the event with 71 points and the Lancers had 171 points.
