Katelyn Malcore's fourth-place all-around finish paced the co-op gymnastics team to fourth place at Saturday's Greater Metro/North Shore Conference meet at Menomonee Falls.
Malcore won the floor exercise with 9.625 points, her top score in the competition. She totaled 36.175 points overall, including 8.9 on vault, 8.75 on bars and 8.9 on the beam.
Brookfield's Taylor Bucholtz had a 9.3 on floor, 8.7 on vault, 8.675 on beam and 7.6 on bars for a total of 34.275. Teammate Elizabeth Tzortzos tallied 34.2 points on scores of 9.125 on floor, 8.575 on beam, 8.55 on vault and 7.95 on bars.
Whitefish Bay's Maggie Anderson was first all-around with 36.325; West Allis' Emily Fuchs was second with 36.3 and Homestead's Katelyn Wright was third with 36.225.
Bay won the meet with 141.4. Brookfield tied for fourth with Nicolet, each with 136.725.
Next up for Brookfield is the Arrowhead Sectional at 11 a.m. Saturday.
