Brookfield Jr. Spartans

7th grade

Whitnall Falcons 6, Jr. Spartan White 0: After a defensive struggle in the cold, Jr. Spartan White fell to the Whitnall Falcons. Good defensive effort by Micah Childs, Jeff Bickel, Will Wimero, Evan Mickey and Alex McTaggert. Special teams' efforts: blocked punt by Scott Janoska, two recovered fumbles by Childs, kick-off return by Troy Henning.

Jr. Spartan Navy 38, Jr. Lancers Blue 6: The Spartans ran out to a 24-0 halftime lead and never looked back, giving up only three first downs in the game. The Spartans had four fumble recoveries and one interception.

6th Grade: Jr. Lancers Blue 6, Jr. Spartans Navy 0

5th grade

Jr. Spartan Navy 19, Jr. Lancers Blue 0: Quarterback Avery Barnes helped the Spartans defeat the Brookfield Central Blue team in a show of determination, and the Spartans got top-notch individual performances from all its players. The Spartans' offensive line, including Brandon Kugler, Evan Halada and Matthew Johnston, provided the opportunity for Jake Graf to score two touchdowns and for Jared Lieungh to score one touchdown as well as an extra-point conversion.
