BA's fencing team participated in the Catholic Memorial High School Invitational on Nov. 23. Highlights included sophomore Megan Kratoska finishing 24th out of 65 and senior Jon Novak finishing 19th out of 76 in mens épée with a particularly spectacular direct elimination bout that drew quite an audience.

On Saturday the team will fence in the first half of the Conference Duals at New Trier High School in Winnetka, Ill. This will be the first team meet of the season, in which the fencers compete in teams of four, rather than as individuals.
