DIVING IN

Elm Grove resident Beth Dzwierzynski , a senior from Divine Savior Holy Angels, finished second in 1-meter diving at the WIAA Division 1 Girls State Swimming & Diving Championships on Saturday at the University of Wisconsin's Natatorium. She was runnerup for the second year in a row, scoring 454.05 points, to rack up all of her team's 17 points. Neenah senior Greysen Hertting won with 470.65 points.

15 Game losing streak in the Greater Metro Conference for the Brookfield East girls basketball team. New coach Mike Goodman, formerly of Mondovi High School, is looking to see a quick end to that.
