Brookfield East finished fourth in the eight-team boys race Saturday at the Marquette Invitational at Washington Park.
The Spartans scored 104 points, finishing behind Madison LaFollette (43), Madison West (45) and Marquette (93).
Leading the Spartans were junior Stephen Browne, who was sixth with a time of 16 minutes, 40 seconds, and senior Brad Johnson took 10th (17:00).
Other scorers were junior Andrew Pelto 21st (17:43), sophomore Alex McTaggart 26th (18:06) and senior Kyriel Hansen 41st (18:31).
Senior Peter Kuenzle finished 50th (19:11) and Nathan Dillon took 51st (19:13).
