TENNIS FUNDRAISER SUNDAY
The Brookfield East, Marquette and University School of Milwaukee tennis programs have started a pilot program to help Milwaukee Public Schools tennis teams. They will host a "tennisthon" from 6 to 10 p.m. Sunday at Western Racquet Club. There will be pledge cards available, and proceeds will be used to purchase team shirts for three MPS schools. Brookfield East senior Aaron Dillon was named the MVP of the Nelson-Daniel Invitational on Saturday. He had the Spartans' only first, winning the 55-meter hurdles (7.61 seconds) and taking third in the high jump (6 feet).
