The eighth annual Wine and Food Festival, a charitable event of the Hartland Lake Country Rotary Club, was held recently at Weissgerber's Golden Mast Inn. Proceeds from the event fund the club's charities, particularly the Children's Splash Pad in Nixon Park.
Chairing the event was Mary L. Went assisted by committee members Dave Barquist, Hans Weissgerber, Barb Webb, Tony Griffin, Chris Keto, Greg Pochowski, Mike O'Connor, Paul Decker, Ray Foster, John Sapp and Norm Eckstaedt.
