City of Brookfield

THEFT

1Construction equipment, a boat trailer and signage were taken from an industrial building in the 4400 block of North 124th Street before 4:22 p.m. Aug. 29.

2Clothing valued at $193 was taken from Burlington Coat Factory, 12575 W. Capitol Drive, about 7:30 p.m. Aug. 29. According to store personnel, two women fled the store with the merchandise. One fled on foot, while the other left in a vehicle with three children in her company.

3Several pieces of jewelry were taken from a home in the 2100 block of North 166th Street before 3:42 p.m. Aug. 30. One or more friends at the house the previous night are suspected.

4A 34-year-old Oak Creek man was arrested for taking clothing from Boston Store, 15875 W. Bluemound Road, at 3:51 p.m. Aug. 30. The man also was arrested for fleeing police when they arrived on the scene.

5A patron's purse was taken at Parkside 23 restaurant, 2300 Pilgrim Square Drive, at 11:05 p.m. Aug. 30.

6Three rings, a value of $300, were taken from a resident at Care Age of Brookfield, 1755 N. Barker Road, at 5:57 p.m. Aug. 31.

7Work tools and a phone charger were taken from a vehicle in the 12500 block of West Lisbon Road before 11:35 a.m. Sept. 1. Access was gained by damaging a lock.

8A wallet and cellphone, a $250 value, were taken from a customer's bag at New to You Kids, 3835 N. 124th St., at 3:45 p.m. Sept. 1.

9A 17-year-old Milwaukee girl was arrested for taking clothing at Trade Secret, 95 N. Moorland Road, at 8:40 p.m. Sept. 1.

OTHER

Police made three arrests related to domestic violence incidents last week.

Town of Brookfield

THEFT

10A wallet and car and home keys were taken from two unlocked vehicles in the 19700 block of Timberline Drive before 10:53 a.m. Aug. 26.

11A GPS unit and power cord were taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 19400 block of Timberline Drive before 12:16 p.m. Aug. 26.

DRUG POSSESSION

12A 27-year-old Malibu, Calif., man was arrested for possession of 0.50 grams of marijuana in the 19600 block of West Bluemound Road at 8:11 p.m. Aug. 26.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

13A 22-year-old West Allis man was arrested for drunken driving near Moreland Boulevard and Kossow Road at 10:23 p.m. Aug. 18. His blood-alcohol content was 0.15. The man initially was stopped for reckless driving, and he was cited for the offense.

14A 36-year-old Ashippun man was arrested for drunken driving near Barker and Bluemound roads at 12:26 a.m. Aug. 19. The man's BAC was 0.083. This was his second offense.

15A 23-year-old Germantown man was arrested for drunken driving in the 2300 block of East Moreland Boulevard at 11:44 p.m. Aug. 24. The man's BAC was 0.127. This was his second offense.

VANDALISM

16A window was broken at Motel 6, 20300 W. Bluemound Road, before 3:12 p.m. Aug. 25. Damage is estimated at $200.

Village of Elm Grove

OTHER

17A 57-year-old Elm Grove man was arrested for disorderly conduct at Ace Hardware, 15360 Watertown Plank Road, at 5:49 p.m. Aug. 28. The man approached a customer at the store and wrapped his arms around her neck. According to police, the man was highly intoxicated.
