City of Brookfield

BURGLARY

1A utility trailer in the 12000 block of Bluemound Road was broken into prior to 8:55 a.m. Nov. 21. Sheet metal was cut away from the door to gain entry. Nothing appeared to be taken.

THEFT

2Copper wire with a value of $350 was taken from the construction site at Underwood Crossing, 12725 W. Bluemound Road, between 1:30 p.m. Nov. 19 and 8 a.m. Nov. 21. It was recovered in an adjoining wooded area.

3Copper pipe and wire were taken from five trucks at S & K Pump and Plumbing, 20880 Enterprise Ave., between 6 p.m. Nov. 22 and 6 a.m. Nov. 23. Estimated loss is $4,200.

4Power cables were cut from six trailer generators at U.S. Cellular, 3545 N. 124th St., prior to 7:30 a.m. Nov. 23. Estimated loss is $10,000.

5Two coin boxes were broken into in the lobby of St. John Vianney Parish, 1755 N. Calhoun Road, between 8 a.m. Nov. 23 and 8 a.m. Nov. 24.

6Fan motors and radiators were taken from an air conditioning unit outside Pillar Induction, 21905 Gateway Road, prior to 10 a.m. Nov. 23. Estimated loss is $5,000.

7Two guns, a 0.12 gauge shotgun and a 0.22 caliber rifle, were taken from a truck in the 14000 block of Woodland Place prior to 10 a.m. Nov. 23.

8Three pairs of shoes were taken from Famous Footwear, 17300 W. Bluemound Road, prior to 10:45 a.m. Nov. 25. Estimated loss is $157.

9Seven coats were taken from Burlington Coat Factory, 12575 W. Capitol Drive, at 4 p.m. Nov. 25. Two men grabbed the coats and fled through a rear fire exit. Estimated loss is $700.

DRUG POSSESSION

10A 19-year-old Brookfield man was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia at the intersection of Lisbon and Hampton roads at 7 p.m. Nov. 21. He was pulled over for driving on a closed road, and a glass pipe was found in his car.

11A 23-year-old Brookfield man was cited for driving under the influence of marijuana, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at the intersection of Greenfield Avenue and Moorland Road at 1:11 a.m. Nov. 25. He was pulled over for a defective brake light, and 0.27 grams of marijuana and a pipe were found in his car.

12Two 18-year-old Brookfield men were cited for possession of marijuana at Wirth Park, 2505 Pilgrim Road, at 9:56 p.m. Nov. 26. An officer approached the men because they were in a car without the lights on after park hours, and a search revealed about 0.8 grams of marijuana.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

13A 58-year-old Brookfield woman was cited for drunken driving after she backed into another vehicle at North Shore Bank, 15800 W. Bluemound Road, at 5:10 p.m. Nov. 23. Her blood-alcohol content was 0.15.

14A 56-year-old Hartland man was arrested for drunken driving, fourth offense, at the intersection of Capitol Drive and Brook Lane at 9 p.m. Nov. 23. He was pulled over for not stopping at a red light. A blood sample was collected to establish his BAC.

15A 21-year-old Waukesha man was cited for drunken driving in the 19000 block of Bluemound Road at 1:23 a.m. Nov. 26. He was pulled over for having a loud exhaust system. His BAC was 0.13.

OTHER

16A woman urinated on the outside of Firestore Mastercare, 95 N. Moorland Road, at 7 p.m. Nov. 21 after she wasn't allowed to use a store restroom. She left on a bus before officers arrived.

17Two adults found in the backseat of a car under a blanket at Boston Store, 15875 W. Bluemound Road, said they were "loving" and were told to leave at 4:05 p.m. Nov. 23.

18A 46-year-old man who was a resident of Brookfield Rehabilitation, 18740 W. Bluemound Road, was cited for disorderly conduct for being sexually inappropriate with staff at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 24. He had a 0.14 BAC and was taken to jail for violating a no-alcohol condition of probation.

DRUG POSSESSION

19A 37-year-old Madison man was cited for possessing marijuana at Best Buy, 19555 W. Bluemound Road, at 6:45 p.m. Nov. 26. Officers investigating an alleged retail theft involving an acquaintance of the man found a marijuana cigarette in his pocket.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

20A 38-year-old Nevada man was cited for drunken driving at the intersection of Watertown Plank and Sunnyslope roads at 1:15 a.m. Nov. 24. He was pulled over for driving 57 mph in a 45 mph zone. A blood sample was collected to establish his BAC.
